“We are going to fulfill our commitment“ is a poignant statement scattered amongst the last recorded words of David Koresh while leading a cult in Waco, Texas in 1993.
Seventh Day is a two track record that explores the obliteration of context and emotion while mirroring the devoid space we can sometimes find ourselves in. The record uses Koresh’s statement as a touch point for listeners to position themselves in for a context of what emotion this record intends to mimic and further expand upon. This was done intentionally to show that this emotion is quite prevalent in the human experience.
